WordPress für mobile Geräte optimieren
Der Vorteil, wenn man ein Content Management System mit einer fleißigen Community nutzt ist, dass viele Plugins und andere Erweiterungen entwickelt werden.
Somit gibt es auch schon einige Plugins, die nach Aktivierung Nutzer von mobilen Geräten erkennen und die Darstellung anpassen.
Das Plugin, mit dem ich die besten Erfahrungen gemacht habe, ist WPTouch. WPTouch läuft auch auf diesem Blog. Eine Vorschau zeigt der Screenshot. Erkannt wird das iPhone, iPod Touch und Handys mit Android.
Im Administrationsbereich könnt ihr diverse Einstellungen vornehmen.
Ihr könnt sogar den Code von Google Analytics eintragen, dann werden auch die mobilen Besucher gezählt. Zudem lassen sich Farben des Designs anpassen und festlegen, welche Seiten im Menü mit welchem Icon angezeigt werden.
WPTouch wurde zuletzt am 04. Februar 09 aktualisiert und läuft ab WordPress-Version 2.3.
Es gibt auch noch weitere Plugins, die aber nur mit älteren Versionen von WordPress laufen. So beispielsweise WordPress Mobile Edition, WordPress Mobile Plugin und für die Administration iPhone / Mobile Admin.

Ein deutsches Plugin hierfür ist WP viewMobile (http://www.handypark.de/webmaster/blogs/wp-viewmobile.html)
Es hat den Vorteil, dass es eine mobile Version für alle Handys (nicht nur das iPhone) ausgiebt.

You’re therefore awesome! I dont suppose Ive learn anything at all similar to this just before. So great to discover somebody with some authentic ideas on this subject. realy thank you for starting this particular up. this site is a thing that’s needed on the net, someone having a little bit of creativity. helpful project for getting something new to the web!
